FAQ
1. What types of therapy do you specialize in?
I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, focusing on helping women heal from emotional neglect and women raising children with food allergies. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to support the healing process.
2. Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes, I provide services via Telehealth, allowing you to receive therapy from the comfort of your own space. This includes KAP dosing sessions.
3. What states are you licensed in?
I am currently licensed to practice in Delaware, Florida, and Wisconsin. I am in the process of becoming licensed in Iowa.
4. What days and times are sessions held?
EMDR Intensive sessions are held Monday thru Friday from 11 am and 2 pm EST. Weekend sessions are held from 9 am and 12 pm EST. Pre-Intensive sessions are available Monday thru Friday between 2 pm and 5 pm EST.
5. Do you accept insurance?
I work with insurance plans out-of-network coverage. I use Thrizer to help my clients process claims and receive reimbursement.
6. What is your cancellation policy?
I require a 48-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a full session fee. If we can reschedule within the same week, the cancellation fee may be waived. Please refer to the detailed Cancellation and No-Show Policy on my website for more information.
7. How long are EMDR Intensive sessions? KAP dosing sessions?
3 hours. EMDR Intensive sessions do have an option for 5 hours.
8. Is therapy confidential?
Yes, all sessions are confidential. However, there are legal exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, which we will discuss in detail during our initial session.
9. How do I know if an EMDR Intensive and/or KAP is right for me?
If you have not found relief through traditional talk therapy, both EMDR and KAP may be beneficial. We can discuss your specific situation during a consultation to determine if either, or both, is a suitable approach for you.
