If you’ve ever felt like weekly therapy just isn’t cutting it—you’re not alone. For many struggling moms, traditional therapy can feel too slow for what they need. That’s where an EMDR Intensive comes in. Let’s break down exactly what it is, how it works, and why it might be the best option for you.
EMDR Intensives Offer Focused, Rapid Healing
An EMDR Intensive is a concentrated format of EMDR; the same process, focused. Instead of attending weekly sessions over months or years, we're doing blocks of therapy (3 hours at a time) during a week. As an EMDR therapist in Florida, We meet via Telehealth so you can easily access what you need from your own space. Many clients feel noticeable relief after just one session.
Perfect for Busy Moms Who Are Just Over It
Let’s be honest—most of the women I work with are overwhelmed, overextended, and running on empty. Weekly therapy can easily become another thing on the to-do list, and nobody needs that. EMDR Intensives are ideal for moms:
Who feel like they're "too much"
Who feel like they don't have a voice or that it matters
Who were never taught the skills they need to manage what they are thinking and feeling (so they don't lose their shit on others)
Trying to keep the tiny humans alive when food allergies are everywhere
You deserve healing and support that works with your life, not against it.
The Process is Structured and Safe
We begin with an EMDR Prep Talk: a 90-minute online session where we talk through your history, goals, and struggles. From there, we identify the target emotions, experiences, or beliefs that are causing the most problems. During the intensive sessions, we use bilateral stimulation (eye movements or tapping) to help reprocess those memories in a safe, supportive way. You are always in control.
